Best I've ever used!, 18 Feb 2011

I have used sun beds for many years and have tried dozens of different lotions. The lotions always left my skin soft but I felt never really deepened the tanning process. Well that is until I discovered this one! 5 Stars....by far the best product I have ever used. Not only does it smell GREAT and leave your skin moisturised it does genuinely deepen your tan, after just 1 session I noticed a difference. Equally importantly, it is great value for money. Some of the lotions I have used in the past have been priced up to £50 (buying directly from salon). I will not be buying anything else from now on, this product is fantastic!

Gave the palest girl in the world a tan..., 4 Dec 2011

I know this is designed for use with sunbeds, but I actually used it in natural sunlight underneath my sun lotion (the excellent Riemann P10) during my summer holiday in Florida and it worked very well!

I'm someone with extremely pale skin who doesn't react very strongly to the sun but is certainly more likely to burn than tan. However, a few sprays of Australian Gold Dark Tanning Accelerator before applying my SPF 10 sun lotion made all the difference. After a few days in the Florida sun my skin was definitely darkening with no burns in sight, which was very impressive to me. I would have liked the tan to go a little darker than it did, but for someone whose skin seems to magically resist tanning the results were still pleasing. For me, even the slightest hint of a bronzed glow is quite something!

Unfortunately the spray has quite a pungent aroma - sort of tangy and sweet like fizzy Haribo, except much stronger. Luckily the smell does fade after a while. I was a little worried about what something with such a strong scent would do to my skin, but I needn't have been concerned. It didn't irritate my skin in the slightest, and I even used it on my face.

I'd definitely recommend this tanning accelerator no matter what sort of skin you have. It seems to be gentle enough to use on sensitive skin (remarkably!) and it definitely does help along the tanning process for those of us with a fairer complexion. I'd imagine the effect would be even more marked on people who tan easily. Unless you're someone who never burns, I'd definitely advise wearing and sun screen over the tanning accelerator as it doesn't contain any sun block. Riemann P10 is a great sun block in my opinion, as it protects against burning but still allows tanning.

The best accelerator out there in my opinion. Smells absolutely gorgeous, doesn't have any bronzer in it and leaves my skin soft and silky with the best tan I've ever had. Works best on the sunbed but I always apply it in the summer whenever I go out so I catch more rays when I'm not actually sunbathing.
