i bought this cream last week on a shop. Only now reading the reviews...
Like many others, I have never had any sort of allergies or skin reactions, but within a couple of hours of applying this cream I had this really nasty red rash all over my face, hot and itchy - this lasted for over 2 days!!

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Olay Regenerist Moisturiser CC Cream - Lightest Skin Tone (Personal Care)
I do not recommend this product to anyone! It has a very strong orange tint to the foundation layer which is very fake looking obviously! Additionally, the product caused an allergic reaction to my skin which has left my skin burnt and incredibly tender and painful to touch. Manufacturer has been contacted.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Last year BB creams were everywhere, this year CC creams are the newest thing in combined products and I was keen to try out this one from Olay. Korean BB and CC creams have taken over in the beauty world and the Western world is keen to get in on the action but they differ in one major area (in my opinion) - Korean creams take the moisturisers, serums etc and add the foundation cream. Western products seem to take the foundation creams and add the moisturisers etc and for that reason I've yet to find a Western BB/CC cream that I find is kind to my skin while still giving me a bit of coverage. I was hoping this would be it, especially since the price is reasonable and Olay is a name I trust.
I have quite sensitive skin and usually have no problem with Olay's products but I just didn't like this one at all. The packaging is beautifully done and I love how it looks but that's about the limit to my positives.
I have a favourite moisturiser and this one from Olay would have had to have miracle properties for me to fall in love with it but I was hoping it might be a nice substitute since it comes with a built in SPF and light coverage foundation too. Sadly, it was not to be. The moisturising properties were not very noticeable on my skin and the 'light' coverage was far too light, I'd say more 'sheer'. Unless you have perfect skin this probably isn't going to work very well. Now, considering this product claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and colour correct I'm guessing that it's not aimed at people with already perfect skin so this is like the catch 22 of CC creams... you need it because you have less than perfect skin...but it won't look great on you unless you have perfect skin.
I won't be using it any more. I find it makes my skin quite shiny when it's on, even though I don't have oily skin (I wouldn't mind if it was the 'dewey', moist look but it's not, it's the oily sheen look). It stings like all get out if you get it near your eyes, even though I was really careful and tried not to get it near my eyes (...and given the claim that it smooths out fine lines and wrinkles that's a bit hard to achieve since a lot of my fine lines and wrinkles are around the eye area). Additionally, if I can't put it near my eyes I have to use another product to see to those areas and that being the case I'd be as well just using that other product all over and ditch the Olay one. It seems to settle into every little line and/or pore and highlight problem areas. Even though it does oxidize throughout the day the light shade is still too light on my fair skin.
Bottom line is this - it feels great going on and comes from a well known and trusted manufacturer but it just made my skin feel itchy and scratchy, stung my eyes like nobody's business and the sheer coverage wasn't enough.
Overall it seems to be very harsh on my skin. It goes on well, it's very smooth and is nice to apply (a little goes a long way) but after wearing it for a whole day I couldn't wait to get it off my face and soothe it with something cooling.
If you don't need any of the corrective features of this cream and don't have sensitive skin then this might be what you're looking for but there are much better products out there so I'd shop around first. I can't recommend this one. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out for my aging, sensitive skin because I thought that would be the target audience.
