Didn't really use the product after reading the list of ingredients. I'm trying to eliminate unnecessary chemicals, so product didn't meet my needs

Use this as a leave in, does not leave white residue when you apply and your hair feels strong .

Does what it says on the tin - I mean tub, 21 Jun 2010

I was very pleased with this product. It arrived promptly and was carefully packaged for posting.

The smell is not exciting, but you could always whip it up with some essential oils (please watch out for allergies if you do so) to mask it, but it is not a potent smell and it does disappear after a while - in fact one of my sons said that he liked the smell of it, so it's a matter of personal opinion. We use it straight out of the tub.

I use it both in my hair and on my skin and it's very moisturising.

Overall, very happy and will definitely order again.

great unrefined shea butter at a reasonable price, 27 Nov 2010

I'm using great amounts of shea butter as a superb moisturiser (belive me, I've tried lots of them, and really only few of them match the effectiveness of the shea butter) regularly on a daily basis at work (I work as a dentist in a busy office so the skin on my hands is irritated by constant washing and wearing of latex gloves, so to prevent it I usually apply a small amount of shea butter right before putting on a new pair - and it works fine for me!) Plus, the price is really reasonable, 400g will last for months even for a couple (or a smaller family :)) using it on a daily basis. The online store that sells it is obviously expeditive, it took my package only 5 working days to arrive from the UK (to Croatian province, southeastern Europe :)) (via Royal Mail). Not to mention that the (shea butter) prices here (in Croatia) are up to 20 times higher :)!
So, great deal. Keep it up!

Organic Unrefined Shae Butter, 21 Dec 2010

This is my 3rd purchase of the product. It keeps my skin supple, and I love it. It also helps to clear marks on your skin!!(I am afro carribean).
One issue i have however is that on the three occasions that i bought this product the consistency has been really different. Twice very smooth and what i descride as 'cakey', and once very grainy, almost as if your applying a scrub to your skin.
Not sure why the product seemed so different? I hope both were indeed unrefined as stated.
Despite this both the 'cakey' and the 'grainy' version performed well. I will be using this product for the forseeable future.
